Kourosh's training in the art of traditional medicine began in 1977 when he was six years old, through his traditionally-trained father. It was not until his years as an undergraduate studying engineering that he realized his calling as a healer. He completed his engineering studies at Virginia Tech, as well as life science and Osteopathic medicine courses before moving on to pursue his passion at the
Traditional Acupuncture Institute where he studied Classical Chinese Medicine and Eastern Philosophy.

Over the years, Kourosh studied various forms of traditional medicine, the most valuable portion of his education being at the hands of a few great souls in the traditional mode of experiential learning. He is currently exploring the great depths of ancient Chinese medicine with Jeffery Yuen, 88th generation Taoist priest.

Kourosh has dedicated his life to the study, practice and development of traditional medicine, the treatment of people in need, and sharing the knowledge with which he has been blessed. He continues to treat people at the Circle of One clinic, teach classes in the internal arts, and lectures publicly on various subjects relating to spirituality, traditional medicine, eastern philosophy, and personal development.

Kourosh created the
Circle of One to provide a vehicle through which to serve people in need while staying true to the principle of never turning anyone away who asks for help, regardless of their circumstances.
